The official ROS Legacy download for Windows is a single zip on dl.roslegacy.net/full. Follow that URL and you currently receive ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip, 8,251,115,387 bytes, served from edge.roslegacy.net. That is the only PC installer this wiki links. Google Drive packs, random APK sites, and the retired Myth Games host are not Mirae Labs download routes. Verify the filename and byte size before you extract anything, then create a Mirae ID so the client can sign in.
Windows install checklist
1. Verify the filename and size
The live archive is ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip at 8251115387 bytes. If a mirror shows a different name or a much smaller file, stop.
2. Extract the Windows archive

Sign in inside the client, then queue Solo, Duo, or Squad. Graphics and sensitivity are in-client; Mirae Labs has not published a recommended settings table.
How the official Windows file is served
The homepage button labelled Download for PC points at https://dl.roslegacy.net/full. That address is a stable route, not a one-off marketing link. A HEAD/Range follow of the live object returns the zip name ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip and a Content-Length of 8251115387 bytes, with the object hosted on edge.roslegacy.net. Write those three facts down before you click: URL, filename, byte size. If a friend sends a renamed rar, a 700 MB “full client,” or a Google Drive folder, it is not this file.
Because the zip is about 8.25 GB decimal, download it on a connection you trust and leave the PC awake until the transfer finishes. Resume support depends on your browser, not on a documented Mirae Labs downloader. After the file lands, compare the on-disk size to 8251115387 bytes. A short file is a truncated transfer, not a “lite” build. There is no Steam depot, no Xbox package, and no Epic installer for this live Windows client title at all.
Skip mirrors, APK sites, and dead hosts
Search results still surface ros.mythgames, mythgames ros, and older installer paths. The Myth Games studio hub at mythgames.net is a different site. The historical Windows URL dl.mythgames.net/rosl/full now 404s. That is useful if you bookmarked the old host during an earlier test: the bookmark is dead, and the replacement is dl.roslegacy.net/full. The 404 on the old Myth Games installer is the whole warning you need.
Third-party APK indexes and cloud-drive posts are worse than a 404 because they can look complete. This wiki never links them. Official bytes come from roslegacy.net, dl.roslegacy.net, cdn.mobile.roslegacy.net, edge.roslegacy.net, and the Mirae Labs account host. If a page asks you to disable antivirus, pay for a “premium zip,” or install a helper tool before ROS Legacy, close it. Android players should use the mobile page instead of a PC zip on a phone. A renamed rar sitting in a chat log is still not ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip.
After the zip: account, then a match
The installer does not replace Mirae ID. You still register at mirae-labs.com/register with a 3–12 character alphanumeric username, an email, a password that mixes upper case, lower case, and a number, and a birthdate. Sign-in is mirae-labs.com/login with email or username plus password. If you installed first and cannot enter a match, the usual miss is skipping that account, not a missing GPU setting.
Open Beta is free. You do not need a Steam key. Once you are in, the client offers Solo, Duo, and Squad. Read how to play ROS Legacy for the first-session order and gameplay for storm, arsenal, and squad tools the publisher names. If the zip extracted but the game will not start, re-download from the official URL rather than hunting a second copy with a later date in the filename. Dated Facebook APK paths and old CDN names have already 404ed; the same pattern will happen to unofficial PC mirrors.
Windows zip versus the Android APK
The PC archive and the Android package are different objects. Windows is the large zip above. Android is RoS-Legacy-2026091811.apk at 108,574,372 bytes from https://dl.roslegacy.net/android/apk. You cannot sideload the Windows zip onto a phone, and you cannot run the APK as a desktop installer. Pick the file that matches the device in your hands.
JSON-LD on the official site still lists iOS among platforms, but the live Download for Mobile dialog disables iOS and labels it Coming Soon. Trust the dialog, not the schema, when you decide what to download tonight. When Apple shipping starts, it will be a store listing or an official button, not a third-party IPA. Steam store search also returns zero apps, so there is no depot to wait for. The Windows zip on dl.roslegacy.net/full is the entire PC story until Mirae Labs prints another host. Bookmark that URL, not a Discord attachment.
