Rules of Survival legacy searches mix several products. ROS Legacy is Mirae Labs’ Open Beta on roslegacy.net, with Windows and Android downloads plus a Mirae ID. The original Rules of Survival was a NetEase game that ceased operations on 27 June 2022. ROS Origin on rulesofsurvival.net is an Obsidian Games revival with its own fan-made disclaimer. ros.mythgames.net is a dead host. Original Rules of Survival and ROS Origin
NetEase shipped Rules of Survival in 2017. Public encyclopedia records say the game ceased operations on 27 June 2022 after an April 2022 Steam removal announcement. ROS Legacy is a later Mirae Labs Open Beta that uses the ROS name and a parachute-drop battle royale loop. It is not a Steam relaunch of that NetEase store page. ROS Reborn has no Mirae Labs product page in the sources listed below.
ROS Origin at rulesofsurvival.net brands itself as ROS Origin / Rules of Survival Origin under Obsidian Games. That homepage sells pre-register and an invite-only Alpha Test Phase 1. Its footer states it is an independent fan-made revival not affiliated with the original developers or rights holders. No Mirae Labs mark, roslegacy.net download, or Open Beta zip appears there. If you registered on Origin, that ID will not open the Mirae client. Keep Origin accounts on Origin; they will not open the Mirae Open Beta client.
Wikipedia records the original NetEase shutdown on 27 June 2022 after the April 2022 Steam removal note. ROS Legacy does not restore that Steam store page. It is a Mirae Labs Open Beta with its own Mirae ID. ROS Origin states it is an independent fan-made revival. Mixing those logins is how people think the Open Beta is broken when they typed the wrong site.
Myth Games leftovers and ROS Reborn
Myth Games still has a studio hub at mythgames.net. Search traffic for ros.mythgames, myth games ros, and mythgames ros legacy often wants the old installer path. dl.mythgames.net/rosl/full now returns HTTP 404, and ros.mythgames.net does not resolve. The current Windows file is https://dl.roslegacy.net/full. Treat Myth Games Discord hits the same way: they are not the ROS: Legacy guild linked from the official site.
ROS Reborn has no Mirae Labs product page in the sources below. YouTube and Search Console treat the query as a different project. The safe line is that Reborn is not a Mirae Labs name. No studio, download URL, or mode list is listed for it. If a video thumbnail says ROS Reborn and a comment pastes an APK, walk away and use the official Mirae hosts instead. Mixing those clients is how people lose a Mirae ID to a different revival.
Search queries for ros.mythgames, myth games ros, and ros origin download are high-show, low-click because the results mix dead hosts with this Open Beta. The live Windows object is ROSLegacy_Install_202609251811.zip on dl.roslegacy.net/full. The live Android object is RoS-Legacy-2026091811.apk. Anything else is a different project or a 404. Join the ROS: Legacy Discord from roslegacy.net, not a leftover Myth Games invite.
