On roslegacy.net, Download for Mobile opens a platform chooser. Download for Android is the enabled action and targets https://dl.roslegacy.net/android/apk. Following that route yields RoS-Legacy-2026091811.apk at 108,574,372 bytes (about 103.5 MB). The object’s last-modified header is 18 September 2026, 11:06:23 GMT. Hosting sits on cdn.mobile.roslegacy.net. Copy those values. An APK that is 20 MB, unsigned under another name, or labelled “ROS Reborn” is a different file. Write the filename on paper if you are installing for a friend so they can match it. Match the filename before you tap Install. Sideload that one APK, then revoke unknown-source permission.
The official dialog copy is Get the app / choose your platform. It is a two-row chooser, not a store badge row. Because Google Play search does not list a Mirae Labs ROS Legacy package, sideloading this APK is the documented Android path. Keep the phone on Wi-Fi for the transfer. After it lands, compare the byte size before you tap Install.
iOS is Coming Soon, not a hidden TestFlight
The same mobile dialog labels iOS as Coming Soon and disables the control. App Store software lookup does not return a ROS Legacy client. An official Facebook mobile note described the phone client as Android only, with iOS not available at that time, which matches the disabled button you see now. There is no IPA link on roslegacy.net.
JSON-LD on the marketing page still mentions iOS as a platform. That schema line is stale relative to the live chooser. If you are on an iPhone, you cannot complete a first drop today through an official package. Watch roslegacy.net and the ROS: Legacy Facebook page for the moment the button turns on. Until then, a Windows PC plus the official zip is the other supported device. TestFlight rumors without an official button are still rumors. The disabled control is the published iOS state. Do not sideload an unsigned IPA while that row stays grey.
Sideload only the official package
An older CDN object at cdn.mobile.roslegacy.net/apk/roslegacy20260914.apk now returns HTTP 404. Dated filenames rot. If a Facebook post, Discord DM, or search ad still points at that 14 September name, it is already dead. Do not “fix” it by grabbing a similarly named file from a mirror. The current official object is the 18 September APK on dl.roslegacy.net/android/apk. Keep that live URL, not a screenshot of an old post.
Phone installers that demand accessibility access, a second APK “to update,” or a login to an unknown store are not Mirae Labs. Google Drive, MediaFire, and random APK sites stay off the install list even when searchers type those queries. After install, create the Mirae ID on https://mirae-labs.com/register. The game account is not created inside a third-party launcher. If Android blocks the install, the prompt is the system installer, not a second website. Allow the source once, finish RoS-Legacy-2026091811.apk, then revoke that permission.
Queue on the phone after you sign in
Open Beta is free on Android the same way it is free on Windows. After Mirae login, the modes the publisher prints are Solo, Duo, and Squad. The shrinking storm, lootable arsenal, and squad pings are the systems the site names; it does not publish a sensitivity sheet or a minimum Android version. Any dpi or gyroscope number you see on a forum is a player suggestion, not a Mirae Labs table.
If the APK installs but the match list is empty, confirm you used the Mirae login, not a leftover account from another ROS project. ROS Origin on rulesofsurvival.net is a different operator. For the first-session order on a phone, use how to play ROS Legacy. For Discord and Facebook, use the community page rather than random invite codes. Keep the APK on the phone until you have finished one match, in case you need to reinstall the same 108,574,372-byte object instead of hunting a newer-looking filename. Reinstall the same 108,574,372-byte APK if the icon disappears after a cache clear.
